Keyboard shortcuts

A similar list, shorter and searchable by shortcut and by action, is in “Settings” → “Keyboard”.

Window areas. Tab and Shift+Tab switch between areas: navigation buttons → address bar → Bookmarks → tree → search box → files; the active area has a frame around it. Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2 and Ctrl+3 move the keyboard straight to the Folders pane, the files and the Preview pane. Esc returns the keyboard to the files from anywhere. After operations and dialogs, the keyboard stays where it was: after deleting, the next file is selected; after pasting, the pasted one.
